I watched this a few days ago, so can't remember that much of it anymore. Probably should have written this straight away.
This episode was a just a bit boring.
Blair and Dan
I read about them both having an internship at a magazine a couple of months ago, and it seemed a bit contrived, but I think they managed to make it work naturally, well as natural as anything is on Gossip Girl. These two are also the only characters who seem to be doing anything that everyone else their age is doing. Studying, being pretentious and working for free in the hope that it will help in the future (it won't. especially these days. you are just free labour.)
Chuck and Blair
They had a nice, very brief, moment. I think that was nicely done. It wasn't overdone, cheesy or anything like that but it made you remember that they still love each other. And throwing some hope to all their fans!
Blair
I like how they've given her purpose. She isn't just about 'being a strong, independent woman', which is general, non-specific crap. I think they are angling for her to be a Stylist/Creative Director type person. Makes sense.
Nate
Was he even in this episode? Oh yeh, more Dad stuff. Boring.
Chuck and whoever
Don't care. Stop giving them screen time. Stop ruining Chuck.
